FAQ
Use this text to share information about your product or shipping policies.
Does Cardexia work on all phones?
Cardexia works with most modern smartphones. Any device that supports NFC or can scan a QR code can view your Cardexia profile. Even if your phone doesn’t have NFC, you can still share your card using QR or a direct link.
What if my phone doesn’t have NFC?
No problem. You can still use Cardexia by sharing your QR code or profile link. The other person only needs a camera or browser to view your details.
Do I need an app to use Cardexia?
In most cases, no app is required to view a Cardexia profile. Tapping or scanning opens your Cardexia page in the browser. An app (if you offer one) may be used for managing your profile, analytics, or advanced features.
How do I know if my phone supports NFC?
On Android, go to Settings → Connections / Connected devices → NFC and check if NFC is available and turned on. On iPhones (iPhone 7 and newer), NFC for reading tags is already built in and usually doesn’t need manual activation.
Why isn’t my card working when I tap it?
Common reasons:
- NFC is turned off in your phone settings
- You’re tapping the wrong area of the phone (NFC antenna position varies by model)
- Your phone or case blocks NFC (e.g., thick/metal cases)
Try turning NFC on, removing thick cases, and tapping slowly near the top/back of the device.
Can older phones use Cardexia?
Older phones without NFC can still scan the QR code on your Cardexia card or use the profile link you share. They just won’t be able to tap via NFC.
Is an internet connection required?
Yes, an internet connection is needed to load your Cardexia profile after tapping or scanning. Without internet, the profile page cannot be displayed.
